Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer at The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Communication. She began her career with the city of Los Angeles as a theater artist. She choreographed and performed in around 20 plays and musicals. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. In addition she played 7 titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing films and TV roles when she enrolled in improvisation classes and was a Theatre West company member. She has a unique voice, and her petite stature lets her perform a range of roles. Her collaboration alongside Naomi Watts as Samara the villain In The Ring 2 is well acknowledged, however, she's more well-known for her role as the lively receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the part of an attorney and a party animal in TV The Land's The Exes in the role of a series regular from 2011-2015. Additionally, she was an Regular for the sitcom ABC Romantically Challenged where she as the flirty, sassy cousin of Alyssa Miano. The show also featured her as the suburban mom who's anxious in CW No Tomorrow. She has lent her soprano singing voice to several cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recently, she appeared playing the dim-witted but lovable Cloud 9 Employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life, with her husband, and their two little kids. She enjoys sewing and helping out at school events.
