Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division in the UFC. She is also the elder sister of former UFC Flyweight champion as well as co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko, an experienced Muay Thai kickboxer, began her professional fight career during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina followed it up and won a silver medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008 and a gold award in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in with her debut in 2003. She returned to the ring in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa via unanimous decision and then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She quit the club in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her impressive striking ability at the end of the fight by using knees on the body. After this win, Antonina was offered a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC during her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took victory in a unanimous victory, however she lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi on a split decision. Antonina recovered from the loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night in this fight. Shevchenko won her first three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
